Horn of Africa Drought

The worst drought in 60 years affects the lives of more than 13 million people in the Horn of Africa. Hundreds of actors from the humanitarian community, including, NGOs, government bodies, the UN and donors, are working to help the people in hunger-stricken areas. The global Food Security Cluster is providing active support to coordination of the immense humanitarian response.

FAO and WFP as global cluster leads are kindly asking you if you could provide any updates on how the situation is evolving on the ground and how you are operating so far. We will consolidate information and make it available on the Food Security Cluster web page.
